Student Council Inauguration 2026/2027

On 15 September 2026, BPIS held the official inauguration of the Student Council for the 2026/2027 academic year. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new year of student leadership and provided an opportunity to formally welcome the newly elected representatives as they take on their responsibilities within the school community.

The newly inaugurated Student Council consists of Head Boy Acelin Hill, Head Girl Valencia Rui En Chong, Secretary Rebecca Byrne, Treasurer Santipap Jhonson (James), KS3 Representative Anna Marisa Watson, KS4 Representative Marlene Henkel Murphy (Evan), and KS5 Representative Alessandro Sardini. The council will represent the student body and contribute to the continued development of student voice, leadership, and engagement throughout the academic year.

We look forward to seeing the Student Council demonstrate responsibility, collaboration, and dedication as they carry out their roles. Their leadership will provide valuable opportunities for students to share their ideas, participate in school life, and contribute positively to the BPIS community.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all students who stood as candidates in this year’s election, as well as to the three parties, Evolve, The Voices, and El Guapo, for their enthusiasm, ideas, and commitment throughout Campaign Week. Their participation reflects the importance of student voice and the willingness of our students to take an active role in their school community.

We congratulate the newly inaugurated Student Council and wish them every success as they begin their term of office. We look forward to a productive and inspiring 2026/2027 academic year.
